Dave Walsh, Owner
Woodworking and carpentry has been Dave’s passion for the last 16 years. His experience began while working within FSC forestry practices on a certified woodlot on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. A love of the forest growing up inspired a deep interest in sustainably harvesting timber and millwork. Soon, being in a woodshop felt like home and new construction projects turned into a career. Over the years collaborating with his clients and subcontractors to bring many tasteful and timeless projects to completion is what confirmed he was in the right business. Little River Builders Inc was established to signify the growth of his experience, his crew and his dedication to continue working with people in Lunenburg county.
Dave lives with his family in Petite Rivière, Nova Scotia. Outside of work he can be found with his wife and daughters, surfing in the Atlantic ocean and enjoying the outdoors. So much of his love of nature is entwined into his home life and into his work, adding an element of creativity and a strong understanding of our climate to build things that last.

Building is a collaborative process
Most projects not only need a builder but require the involvement of many other sub trades and inspectors. Excavator operators, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians and good, trusted suppliers all bring a project to fruition. You can do a lot on your own but so much more with others.
